Department of Civil Engineering and Natural Hazards

The Department of Civil Engineering and Natural Hazards is designated as a center of excellence in the disciplines of natural hazards, applied geology, geotechnical engineering, soil-bioengineering, vegetation technology, landscape construction, structural engineering and sustainable construction.
The interfaces with other departments at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences lie in the competence fields of terrestrial ecosystems, water-atmosphere-environment, habitat and landscape, renewable raw materials and resource-oriented technology.
